Reboots out of nowhere
I won't get into the other problems, but somehow I solved the print server problem and now have two Windows 95 and one XP machine connected through the print server to an HP 4P Laserjet. It took a lot of trial and error to get it to work including an SMC tech support rep who couldn't think of what to do.

If I use qtcups to print, I get a list of active printers on the server, so I know the overall system is working. it seems like a permissionproblem, but I can't figure it out. Can anybody suggest another setting to adjust? You might try enabling "raw print file support", in /etc/cups/mime.conf and mime.types.
